Mariager Camping & Hytter is located on the edge of Mariager Fjord. Right up to the forest, and only 300 meters to the center of the old market town Mariager. Here you will be motivated to play, enjoy and fellowship by the fjord and in the forest.

Being on the edge of Mariager Fjord
With its unique location, Mariager Camping & Hytter is the natural choice for modern holidaymakers who want a quality holiday in quiet and safe surroundings. There is room to be in nature, be together, be by the fjord, be curious or just be… on holiday.
The site is a good starting point for excursions, nature experiences, cycling and running, as well as cultural experiences. From the site it is a few minutes walk to the centre of the idyllic old market town, Mariager. A cosy town with cobblestones, half-timbered houses and hollyhocks or a marina, which in the summer season is buzzing with life and activity.
Mariager Camping & Hytter cooperates with tennis and golf clubs, rents out bicycles, SUP and kayaks. There are also ideal opportunities for fishing. All on or near the site.
Mariager has previously been certified as a CittaSlow town, and has been admitted to the exclusive society as Denmark’s 2nd town.
Camping with your dog
Camping holidays are for the whole family, including four-legged friends. Therefore, dogs are of course also welcome at Mariager Camping. There are just a few rules that must be observed.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead when you are on the site – including at the caravan.
- Dog “yard” is not allowed – for the sake of our other guests and dogs.
- Of course, you may have a small enclosure at the tent, so that your dog can walk freely in the tent. If in doubt, ask.
- Dogs must be handled outside the campsite. Right next to the campsite you will find a forest and a beach, so there are plenty of nice possibilities to walk your dog.
